What do you guys think of RFA Dave Ragone

He lit up the NFLE Last year and almost won there championship by himself. Houston likes Carr (and any quarterback they may select too much to give him a chance. In three years he started only two games in his rookie year (a rookie with that O-line, he should be dead.) As a restricted free agent we would need to give up a third for him, but if we were to get him we could focus on a LB in the draft instead of a QB.
Come on, isn't it about time for the NFL Draft?

Okay, I'm going to be a homer
What I remember most from when Ragone played at U of L was what a tough son of a b**** he was. He got a lot of flak for not sliding when he tucked the ball and ran (which wasn't that often, but not uncommon). When a reporter asked him about that, he said "Sliding's for baseball. I thought we were playing football?", or something to that effect. He's also a pretty big dude: 6'4", around 240ish. He's a good leader, has a good arm and good accuracy (Completed 685 of 1,180 passes (58.1 percent) for 8,564 yards, 74 touchdowns and 29 interceptions).

That being said, he'd be a project, no doubt. His arm is good, but not great, and has a tendency to force his throws. With a draft this deep, I don't know if he's necessarily worth a 3rd rounder either.
PM me if you'd like a sig.

It was just a thought, he has shown that he has talent. Whether he ever gets a chance is another thing, but with our low third he would be cheap, he is better then Mike McMan.
