I wish the Vikes would have traded up to get Cutler.. They didn't, so Greenway was the next best selection for us. Good pick Childress.

And Greenway isn't slow. He had a bad combine but ran 4.55 in private workouts with the Vikes and other teams. A great pick at the biggest need on the team.

I am glad the vikings didnt waist any picks to move up and get a QB, it wasn't worth it. Anyone notice the NFC North has picked only LB's so far

they took him because ive been at a track meet all day and didnt have time to give childress advice

He'll be re-signed after his contract expires. He's a solid OT, but not a Walter Jones that people would be throwing tons of cash at to sign.

Because he's not rated as high as Greenway. Not as fast, not as quick, not as hard of a hitter, not as strong a tackler and not as versatile. Greenway was the best LB on the board, and can play in multiple spots. If MN passed on Greenway, Dallas would have sent them a personal letter thanking them for the blunder.
