Mason was the first running back the Vikings had in 1961. He played for MN thru 1966. While he was here he averaged 4.2 yards per carry & had 28 rushing TD's.Who was Tommy Mason????? Remember Kramer, but Mason?

Re: WCO QB
agreed 100% vince young is the golden future of the lucky team that gets him. Matt leinart si a good QB too, but i like the vince young style of QB better(more exciting) there are lots of other QB's in the draft that would be superb i'm sure(i'm not into the NCAA)

Re: WCO QB
Vince young would be fun to watch, but mightnot be the best fit for the WCO. Daunte was fun to watch too, and had a similar wonderlic score, but it is guys like Tom Brady that can win you superbowls. I think Leinart or Cutler would be better suited to run the WCO.

Thanks Lotza!

Re: WCO QB
I love to watch Young play. But he doesn't meet either of the primary core requirements for a WCO QB. Low wunderlich score and inaccurate passer.
He's more of a runner and I think he is going to be great but not in a WCO.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Hey buddy, do you think that Vince Young will be a better WCO type of QB then Jay Cutler? I like different things about both of these guys. I like that Young has great feet and can run if need be, and I like the classic play of Cutler.. It should be interesting to see what we do with all the rumor going around that we will trade up in the draft..
