I respect Wade even more after this. He wants to be here. He knows.

He probably got an ultimatum, rework your deal or be let go, he's not really a saint for doing this. Just someone who underperformed and agreed to take a pay cut.

It looks like they could be getting ready to move on from Bobby Wade

UPDATE: A league source confirmed that in exchange for reworking his contract, Wade will become a free agent after this season. Wade had signed a five-year deal in March 2007.

This is the first thing I've read to have me thinking otherwise on my long held belief that they will not carry six WRs.

not really, thats more or less what you have to pay for free agents these days.

I don't have a very high opinion of Wade.
He screams average and you can find average slot receivers for less than we were paying him.

Him and Shank were both reaches.
Shank has improved and is now worth his deal.
Wade hasn't which is why he re-worked his deal.

If I am management and I realize most of the slot minutes will go to Percy then why do I overpay for Wade when Reynard comes cheaper and is more talented?
You don't and Wade saw the writing on the wall.

At the time, we needed a guy who was proven, and consistent.
    Wade was proven and consistent.
We already had young guys that never actually showe dthey can do anything (Reynaud).
Why keep gambling that a young guy will pan out when you can get someone where you KNOW what you're getting?

    You are right, imo.
Wade is definitely average and only stood out due to our pitiful receiver corps over the past few years.
He will just go the same way as TTaylor and Robinson and Wiggins, for that matter. Still, some of these decisions make me wonder, wtf their criteria is?!?

Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?
