It's about time Childress imitated good coaches.

What I don't understand is that he's still not even utilizing Peterson... what an idiot.

Have Harvin at QB and Peterson lined up next to him at HB... what's the defense gonna do?

Anyways, just a thought... I'm sure our coaches have thought of it already... maybe?

    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

exactly, everyone will be wanting to use it this year so can't see it being as effective as last season. Lets concentrate on trying to get the KAO working properly first before we worry about anything else.
    So let me ask.
Percy Harvin lines up at QB to FAKE the wildcat.
How would that be a fake?
    :P

The wildcat worked for a time last year because it was a new wrinkle and dc's didn't have time to adjust to it. In the offseason I am sure that has been addressed and it isn't going to surprise anybody.

If Childress wants to shock a defense, maybe he should teach his players to execute the scheme consistently. That may actually cause a stroke or 2.

I love to how this will work out against the 3-4 with Dom Capers. You certainly would've destroyed us last year with Sanders as our DC. He didn't adjust to anything, really.

Anyway, why nto give it a try? If it works, great, if not, too bad, throw it out of the playbook. I certainly think that you have the personel to make a difference in this formation.

    The Brits are right.
If there's no threat of a pass a defense will key on the run.
No one should know this better than Chiller.
Who would he put as the QB in the Wildcat, Harvin?
    Can he throw?
We need to be multi-dimensional on offense.

Maybe Harvin has a hidden talent of passing.

    It's worth a shot

They are test driving the car right now

If it works it works.. If not we won't use Harvin like that

I like the idea because he has good RB ability and vision and is a threat (hopefully) that you have to account for

    Why not just use TJ?
    Especially if Sage is starting.
Stick TJ in, then defenses will clue in that something is going on.
He's fast enough to run with the ball, and he's got a good enough arm that he can get defense thinking wildcat run, and surprise them with a pass.
