I wouldn't mind this at all. I know a lot of people are saying let TJ have his chance, but what is wrong with the competition? If Jackson can beat out another QB then he is the man. A first round to get competition...I don't know about that. But I think that the Vikes only really go for this if Childress has serious doubts about Jackson and knows he needs to have something going in the third year to keep his job. We'll know the answer if the Vikes go after Carr and get him. If they don't get Carr this scenario is still in play. Again it could be another move by Childress to show he has interest in order to get teams thinking about trading up to get Quinn.

id still prefer carr..that first rounder can get us gaines adams or calvin johnson

I think it's pretty much agreed that CJ is out of the question for us, but I agree that Carr and drafting Gaines would be great. I just don't think drafting Quinn at #7 is bad idea. Like I said, if BC drafts him that high it means 1)he no longer sees TJ as the franchise QB and 2) He believes Quinn has some major ability. Now he touted TJ last year and so to take Quinn makes it look like he blew it last year. SHould be interesting.

I think we can build a solid team without Quinn.....
I also agree, we should take a very serious look at bringing in Carr......

Then attend to our DE, WR,Right O-line needs via FA and the Draft...

Plus, I still believe TJ, will develope into a very speical player for us, in the next two seasons....

Carr was an excellent NFL prospect and #1 pick, he's played well at the NFL level but hasn't had an opportunity to break out in Houston. I think he's gonna be a great QB if we bring him to Minnesota.

And I wouldn't call Calvin Johnson completely out of the question, if teams draft by need we could end up with him, some of the teams have WR as a need in front of us, but more pressing needs at other positions, so I seriously doubt they could pass up on a prospect like that.
