Rather than slide safely, the quarterback took two hard hits and suffered a bruised knee. He will be re-evaluated today.

BALTIMORE — Tarvaris Jackson was lucky.

The Vikings quarterback suffered a bruised right knee at the end of a run late in the first quarter of an exhibition game Saturday night at Baltimore and did not return...

I think all? injury's TJ has had were from him running the ball, where he took the slide on the first run took 2 hits on his second. I think it's good that he's going for extra yardage but he should think about him risking more injury's running the ball and taking the hit...

Jackson was removed in the first quarter of Saturday night's 23-15 win over the Ravens with a knee injury, but a potentially devastating moment for the Vikings turned out to be far less harrowing than expected.

I don't quite understand why people seem to be high on Hicks and ignore Young.
Hicks to me is very inconsistent.

I didn't see Tapeh in there last night either.

TARVARIS HAS SPRAINED MCL

He is expected to be able to return for the team’s final preseason game.
Already, he’s riding a stationary bike at the team’s facility.

the pro rumor spreaders at pft are at it again...anyone got any more info on this?
At least he's already able to work it!
Hopefully, we'll be happy with what we see of Gus starting!!!
