Tarvaris Jackson was off to a marvelous start for second straight week before a knee injury abruptly ended his stint in the Minnesota Vikings' 23-15 pre-season victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night....

Rather than slide safely, the quarterback took two hard hits and suffered a bruised knee. He will be re-evaluated today.

The Vikings quarterback suffered a bruised right knee at the end of a run late in the first quarter of an exhibition game Saturday night at Baltimore and did not return...

I think all? injury's TJ has had were from him running the ball, where he took the slide on the first run took 2 hits on his second. I think it's good that he's going for extra yardage but he should think about him risking more injury's running the ball and taking the hit...

10:38 p.m. – It wasn’t pretty, but the Vikings offense was able to grind away at the game clock. Thanks to a defensive holding penalty against the Ravens, the Vikings drive was extended and Young kept toting the ball as the time kept ticking away....

I don't quite understand why people seem to be high on Hicks and ignore Young.
Hicks to me is very inconsistent.
I didn't see Tapeh in there last night either.

He is expected to be able to return for the team’s final preseason game.
Already, he’s riding a stationary bike at the team’s facility.
At least he's already able to work it!
Hopefully, we'll be happy with what we see of Gus starting!!!
