The offseason is over
The offseason officially ends on Wednesday for the Minnesota Vikings as players begin reporting to training camp on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato. The first official practice isn't until Friday morning, but the players and coaches must attend to other business in the meantime. Keep checking the vikings.com Training Camp Journal for constant updates on Wednesday's action around training camp.
Re: Vikings Traing Camp Journal
You know, it's always a bitter sweet start to the football season cuz that means I have to go back to school :(
Re: Vikings Traing Camp Journal
Finally!! The offseason is too long, and while they are ad it they neet to cut two preseason games.
Re: Vikings Traing Camp Journal
I'm soo damn excited this year for training camp to start.
It's so crazy because usually I'm pumped about the season and semi-pumped about training camp but with all the new faces and youngsters trying to win such important roles on the team I'm just excited about camp this season.
Some of my biggest things I'm excited to see is the following:
Can T. Jack prove he's ready to be the #1 QB and allow the coaches to focus on other issues rather then signing another QB?
Can T. Jack step up and be the leader he will need to be to play at the NFL level?
Will Adrian Peterson make it to camp and if so how explosive is this guy?
Can T. Will get his mind right and start making the plays that he's able/suppose to make?
Can he take the #1 spot as WR and be a deep threat to loosen up the running game?
Can Chad Greenway come in and prove he's fully recovered from his injury and contribute immediately at this level?
(hopefully the way A.J. Hawk played for GB last year)
Is Cedric Griffin able to be a solid CB and play better then Caption Smoot(which should be fairly easy to do)?
These are only a few of the many questions on my mind at this point but these are the immediate questions I have.
Can't wait to see how every thing starts coming together.
