Re: Vikings | Team will visit with McMahon
I just want something done soon. With our new O-Line, and the new WCO system, and the way BJ gets rid of the ball so quickly, I don't see BJ getting any serious injury next season. I would like to see a backup that has atleast played in the NFL before. Harrington would be ok, and Mcmahon would be ok as well. We need to remember that BJ is our starter, and these guys are just coming in to be backups. If BJ doesn't get injured, these guys will never start. It's basically having depth, that is all it is..

Re: Vikings | Team will visit with McMahon
I don't know what the fuss is. I saw him play a few games last year and I think he did pretty well. I'd take him as the backup QB over Harrington. He is not a starter but a pretty decent backup. I thought he did decent given that his only healthy reciever was a rookie and Reid was calling very few run plays.
I have no problems with this considering who else is out there.Halo 4. Start another fight.

Re: Vikings | Team will visit with McMahon
I liked this board a lot more when we were speculating and Steve Hutchinson and not Mike McMahon. This thread is putting me to sleep.

Re: Vikings | Team will visit with McMahon
Harrington plays scared; plain and simple. He makes terrible decisions. At least McMahon is a gamer and plays hard. I would not mind bringing him in since he does have some NFL starting experience under Childress' system.
What I would like to see is the Vikes sign McMahon for immediate back up purposes, then groom someone that we pick up in the draft.
