Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Minnesota Vikings have contacted free agent FB Mack Strong (Seahawks), but no visit was scheduled.

Get him in here for a visit! I am tired of us waiting to get the big name players. This would be a huge signing for our running game IMO.

The MVP's Full Back, his best guard..... big numbers for chester taylor if we pull this off.

We did sign Goodspeed but Mack Strong is an accomplished and good FB. He would be an awesome pick up. What I think is the Vikings are trying to get a FB and use Kleinsasser to package in a trade to move up in the draft. Kleinsasser can be used as a FB and TE but IMO he hasn't played up to par the last year. He was hurt all year before that and I don't think he recovered well.

I don't know, I could be way off here but it's just a hunch.
