Some actual good news from this signing. For those of you who believe in the ProFootballFocus system, Michael Jenkins was the #12 overall wide receiver last year. Targeted 69 times with 0 drops.

This is just a "meh" signing. I guess we signed him for cheap and he's familiar with Musgrave. I think we could have done better but I guess... :sick:

Career 100 yard receiving games:

Hank Baskett: 2, Devin Aromashodu: 1, Michael Jenkins: 0.

If you're expecting a Rice replacement, you will be very, very disappointed.

If you're expecting a Camarillo replacement? Maybe.

This would make sense if we were still looking at someone like Floyd or Edwards to replace btwice...doesn't seem like that's the plan, however.

A great run blocker so that may be part of the reason for the signing if Musgrave wants to ground and pound.

I completely agree with your comment on the secondary.. We need to improve.

I just have a funny feeling that we'll be looking at Griffen, Abdullah, Johnson, and Cook as our secondary. I would love to be wrong.
