The three leading rushers ALL-TIME in the NFL were between 5'8" and 5'10" (Emmitt, Barry and Walter).
I am sick of seeing these stupid writers say this...buncha DUMB BASSES!!!
This is why Maurony went before Williams.
Barry Sanders - 5' 8" - 203 lbs.
Marshall Faulk - 5'10" - 211 lbs.
Emmitt Smith - 5'10" - 216 lbs.
Ladainian Tomlinson - 5'10" - 221 lbs.
204 isn't too small!!! He could easily put on 10-15 pounds of muscle and be the same size as LT (the heaviest guy listed above). If the guy is good, his size won't matter...as far as I am concerned, he is very close to the ideal size for an NFL RB (5'8" - 5'10" and 205 - 225 lbs.)...regardless of what the "experts" think...let's see what he can do in training camp before we write him off.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: Vikings sign Undrafted Free Agents
viks_fan21, Gordon left because KU has some depth at CB and none at WR. He wanted to play exclusively at CB because thats where he is projected in the pros but they were going to keep giving him double duty, plus special teams. He was projected as a middle round guy this year and if he stayed and kept playing both ways, his stock probably wouldn't have gone up. One of his knocks is his inexperience at CB. Keep in mind, he never played CB in his life until his sophomore year- the year he led the country in picks. He did the right thing by leaving but he ran such a poor 40 at the combine, his stock dropped. Don't let the 40 time fool you though. He has speed and is very quick.

Re: Vikings sign Undrafted Free Agents
Well yes....basically. Don't get me wrong, he's a team guy and for three years did anything they asked him to do but with the way they would use him next season his stock wasn't expected to go up so he declared. Now that he wasn't drafted, it appears his stock had nowhere to go but up but when he declared he was projected middle rounds.

Yeah i agree Cajun, and ive always liked the shorter backs anyway, they seem more elusive and explosive, and what do they need height for anyway? to be a bigger target and get blasted onto their backs?"Jeremy" wrote:
