VIKINGS SIGN TWO RECEIVERS
http://www.vikings.com/news_detail_objectname_SignTwoWr61306.html
From Vikings.com
The Minnesota Vikings have signed free agent wide receivers Kevin Kasper and Josh Davis. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Kasper, a former walk-on at Iowa who is entering his 5th NFL season, has played in 38 games with 8 starts. He was a part of the New England Patriots 2004 Super Bowl Champion squad, playing in the final 8 games of the season. Originally a 6th-round draft choice by the Denver Broncos, Kasper has caught 24 passes for 287 yards and 3 touchdowns and returned 77 kickoffs for 1,869 yards (24.3 avg.). His best season offensively came in 2002, when he played in 13 games for the Arizona Cardinals and finished with 15 catches for 180 yards and 3 scores.
Davis spent the final 7 weeks of the 2005 season on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. He originally signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted rookie free agent in April 2005 after finishing his career at Marshall as the school's and Mid-American Conference's alltime leading receiver with 306 catches for 3,889 yards and 23 touchdowns. His reception total ranks 2nd in NCAA history, trailing only Purdue's Taylor Stubblefield, who ended his career with 325 catches (2001-04). Davis also set an NCAA freshman record in 2001, when he pulled in 79 catches for 961 yards and 5 touchdowns.

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

Re: VIKINGS SIGN TWO RECEIVERS
I've never heard of the other guy, but Kasper is a pretty good returner. He's fast too! Reminds me of Tim Dwight. Possible more proof that Koren is moving strictly to receiver? Probably.

That said we have one maybe two spots on the roster for WRs depending on Marcus Robinson's status. We need another WR as much as we need more CBs which we have 6 guys competing for 3 maybe 4 spots behind Winfield and Smoot.Minnesota Vikings : Simply the best
