Names Khreem Smith a former Oklahoma State player who went undrafted in 2004.

Maybe KWill can bring out the best in him...and show him the ropes on how a Pro Bowler does it!
i wonder what people will find in this to bitch about.
The problem was three years ago.It doesn't say he was found guilty. Apparently he's kept to the straight and narrow the last three years.Quote:
after being charged
Looks like he had a good season in the arena leagueSo I'm more than happy to give him a chance.Quote:
Smith played for the Chicago Rush in the AFL last season, leading the team with 10 tackles for loss and eight sacks. He also led the league in forced fumbles with six, helping the Rush to a 69-61 victory over the Orlando Predators for the Arena Bowl championship.

Oklahoma State football player has been suspended indefinitely after being charged with threatening to kill his girlfriend.
School: Oklahoma St.
Conference: Big 12
Ht., Wt.: 6'3, 250
40 Time: 4.82
BIO: Garden City CC transfer that started the past two seasons at OSU. Posted 37/10/3 as a senior when he also intercepted a pass after 24/4/1 the prior year.
POSITIVES: Undersized speed rushing end who may be best standing over tackle at the next level. Good athlete that plays with leverage, quickness and adequate speed. Fluid changing direction and immediately alters his angle of attack in pursuit of the ball handler.
NEGATIVES: Not an instinctive defender or one that displays great wherewithal on the field. Looks and tests better than he actually plays.
ANALYSIS: An underachiever of sorts, Smith displays the ability to be a disruptive force in the backfield or the skills to make plays sideline-to-sideline. May be best at an outside linebacker position.
PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent

06/15/06 - Arena Football League (AFL) Chicago Rush
The Chicago Rush announced today it has placed lineman Khreem Smith on the Arena Football League's exempt roster after Smith signed a two-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
Smith (6-4, 270, Oklahoma State) finished his rookie season as the AFL leader in forced fumbles (6) and ranked second in the AFL in sacks (8.0). He also recorded 22.5 tackles, two passes broken up and one blocked kick. His sack total is the third-highest single-season total in Rush history, behind John Moyer's 10 sacks in 2004 and nine in 2003.
At the conclusion of the regular season, Smith was named Second Team All-Arena and to the AFL's All-Rookie team.
The Rush defeated the Orlando Predators 69-61 Sunday in Las Vegas to capture the ArenaBowl XX title. The win capped an amazing playoff run in which the underdog Rush won three consecutive road games on its way to the championship game.

Childress must really like this guy if they signed him to a 2 year contract right out of the chute.
