Vikings to see what talent's out there

Vikings to see what talent's out there

The team has four spots that could use help, and it would prefer to build with the draft and then add free agents.

INDIANAPOLIS - Clearly the term "NFL offseason" is an oxymoron.

Two weeks after the Giants upset the Patriots in the Super Bowl, NFL executives and coaches are back at it.

Damn, can't get past the popups.

What are the 4 positions they say we need help at?

I am sure they are wrong but it should read DE, S, WR, and ohhh I don't know, QB?

We really need to address one or two of these positions with FAs that will provide a veteran presence.

Safety is looking bad.
The Vikes must have somthing in mind already to compensate for the loss of Smith.
I would think they must have something in the works with keeping both Doss and Tank, if not both, at least one.

At WR, the Kelly suggestion is a nice one. BUT, I don't know if we take a WR that late in the first round, maybe the best thing to do is add another 2nd or 3rd rounder to compete with Allison and Rice.

DE is a very important position for us to fill.
We lost KU for the year for sure.
We need to go forward like he won't be here.
Nobody really wants to say that but it is true.
It isn't fair to the team to not fill his spot.
(edit) Edwards uses roids (violated roids policy of the NFL missed 4 games)? ? ? (edit) Mitchell is hurt (tune up surgery) ? ? ? Scott might be signed away? ? ?
There are a lot of question marks there.

I am confused.
Mitchell has never been in trouble with steroids, and Edwards is healthy.
Did I miss something in that article?

Kind of like reading an article about how it takes oxygen to stay alive.

I will have to edit that.
Thanks!

I had them backwards.

Edwards was suspended for roids policy by the NFL.
It was right there in the article.

Mitchell was hurt towards the end of the season and had some sort of "Tune Up," should be ready for the season. Suppose to be minor.

Re: Vikings to see what talent's out there

I just don't see the DEs being up to par for us to win and helping the D improve its overall ranking.

We have DEs putting up mediocre numbers, have not put together consistently strong performances for an entire year.
We are lacking at DE.
It would be nice to have someone
produce like a star.
One of these guys might be a star in the future we need to upgrade our talent pool somehow someway.
