Vikings' rookie Jasper Brinkley just brings it

Thats what I want to see, a LB wanting to take the head off any ball-carrier stupid enough to be in his immediate area. He will definitely be a player to watch out for this season.

I saw the title and the first thing that came to my mind was another rookie that loved to hit, Greg Blue!

We all like those guys that can hit.
We just hope that they make the team.

We have heard a lot of good things about our rookies.
Hope they all live up to the hype.

But the thing about Blue was that he really didn't have a spot in the Pros. He was a good hitter, but that was about it for his position. The Safety spot is getting away from only hitters, they have to be able to cover the field also. Brinkley, on the other hand, is a true LB.

LB'ers in our scheme need to have good coverage abilities as well.
Love to see a hardhitting LB, but if he is going to backup EJ,
he better have some range in coverage over the middle as well.

JB was great in south carolina, but had a few injuries here and there and didnt have the help around him to make him shine.
he'll have his growing pains just like most rookies.

had an hour conversation about him with a SC fan i work with.
he had nothing but good thing to say about him.

Plus got paid to talk football it was great lol.
