Re: Vikings report: Taylor's arm not ready for contact
i say this is good,Its not a serious injury and chester already knows the offense so use this time to get AP up to speed with the first team O and get him to memorize some blocking schemes. Before u know it chester will be back with a more game ready peterson right behind him

Running back Chester Taylor continued to wear a wrap on his bruised forearm Wednesday and did not participate in the Vikings’ first practice of the day....

chester taylor returns

Afternoon practice was short, and relatively casual. Players wore shorts and left the shoulder pads inside. Adrian Peterson remained sidelined with a hip pointer, but Chester Taylor returned from his forearm contusion. He took reps with the first team offense

Re: chester taylor returns
I don't think Chester will get much playing time against the Chiefs. No contact til next week would be the way to go. Not gonna put our starter in jeapardy for a practice situation with the Chiefs.

Re: Vikings report: Taylor's arm not ready for contact
Chester won't play against the Chiefs this weekend, but he's gonna wrap the Sunday Newspaper on that bruised arm, and he'll be back at practice early next week. Adrian on the other hand with a hip pointer will be back later in the week.
We have some young guys (Fason Mathis...etc) that need all the looks they can get.

thats my boy, i've been a fan of mitchell ever since last year, hope he makes the team– Defensive end Jayme Mitchell made what could have qualified as the play of the day. He appeared to beat right tackle Marcus Johnson, forced a Jackson fumble and then picked up the ball. In a game, there would have been a whole lot of daylight in front of Mr. Mitchell.
