Not sure why you hate the guy.
Only Brady has done more with less at the WR position. The guy took plenty of teams to NFC games with the worst WR corps ever. Freddie Mitchell... James Thrash... Todd Pinkston. The year he had a WR, he went to the Superbowl. Outside of his stint with the Skins....he was always in playoff contention. The guys a good QB and I can't wait to see him "MJ" for my team.
No explanations, it is just the way it is. You just have to accept the fact that I do and nothing is going to change it.
I accept it... Just trying to understand it.
I can't explain it really. It has nothing to do with the teams he played for, anything he did against the Vikings, his skin color or anything like that. It is just the way he acts during press conferences, his stupid moon walk celebrations and the way he tries to act like he is taking the high road while he is taking shots at whoever he is currently having a problem with.

I'm absolutely amazed by the McNabb hate around here. What has Kyle Orton ever done better than Donovan? Donovan is a 6-time All-star with an awesome playoff record and history in the west coast offense that we run. Kyle Orton couldn't even beat out Tim Tebow for his starting job.

His focus in his last playoff appearence enterence was IMHO questionable and he has also been bench in his last 2 seasons and that little silly wristband squabble are, I don't know red flags. May be not the biggest issues around but we've been through the Favre drama for the last 2 years, first year was good last year had lots of issues (ego, health, texting his doodle). Now McNabb may have a big chip to prove something to the Eagles and Skins and that could work great but he could also want things done his way and I would rather do something different from that this year.

Exactly. From the moment he was drafted and booed by the Philly fans he has been a lightning rod and after the past few seasons let alone the whole history of the organization the last thing we need is another QB that has a history of creating controversy. If Wilf does this I am going to lose any hope I ever had for him.

@Jay_Glazer: Vikes were hoping for Tyler Thigpen and looking at Gradkowski and in the end McNabb at that low price, picks and salary, not much to lose

Still hating on McNabb? Or would you rather have Thigpen or Gradkowski?

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

    Dodged such a huge bullet

@JeffDarlington Thigpen was down to three teams. Came down to Minn. and Buffalo. Thigpen liked the idea of reuniting with Chan Gailey.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

Re: Vikings and Redskins close to deal for McNabb

    On McNugget last year:

He started 13 games, and he threw 14 touchdown passes, 15 interceptions. He was benched during the closing minutes of a Halloween loss to the Lions. Later, the Redskins sat him down behind Rex Grossman for the final three games of the season.

Boy, how could we not benefit from those types of numbers?

So you judge Randy Moss by his Raiders numbers? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

So you judge Randy Moss by his numbers with the Raiders? Yeah, I didn't think so. It's all about the system! West coast. Just like McNabb has done in his best years. Look at Moss in New England. Old stars can be rejuvenated in the right system. McNabb fits in perfectly here. If you would rather have Tyler Thigpen or Bruce Gradkowski under center, you are out of your mind.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

Re: Vikings and Redskins close to deal for McNabb

@JasonLaCanfora: On Wed. McNabb badly wanted out of DC and to get to MIN - his primary destination of choice prior to trade to Skins. He expects to
Work out a new deal with MIN on Wed, as the club has said it is unable to absorb his existing contract.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.
