Been refreshing my twitter feed every 2 seconds since the news broke. Make it official guys! This is awesome. And this is our best shot at convincing Sidney to stay here.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

If this happens it just might make the Vikings move to LA as an attractive option.

God I HATE McNabb and his god awful break dance, his prima donna press conferences and pretty much everything else about him.

If he signs I just might make Marrdro's rants on Farve look time by comparison.

Being that I live 30 miles from Mankato I can assure you I will go to camp and personally jeer him.

DITTO! DITTO! DITTO! I didn't think anyone despised him as much as I do. If he comes, count me out for the season.

Lol, how could anyone hate Donovan McNabb? He is a class act. And a damn good quarterback. I would rather start a rookie than pick up Kyle Orton or Matt Hasslebeck

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

No need for McCrap here. Very poor idea, wow 2 teams in 2 years happy to get rid of him. Only way this is a good trade is if the Redskins give us a pick to take him.

good QB, but i with some on here about the rental QBs no more.

At least give the youngesters a chance in training camp and maybe the first 2 preseason games to see if we even need a Vet QB.
This might just be McNoise. We could start with the young guys and come week 4 or 5, if it hasn't worked out, Brett will be ready to go!

I'm absolutely amazed by the McNabb hate around here. What has Kyle Orton ever done better than Donovan? Donovan is a 6-time All-star with an awesome playoff record and history in the west coast offense that we run. Kyle Orton couldn't even beat out Tim Tebow for his starting job.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

His focus in his last playoff appearence enterence was IMHO questionable and he has also been bench in his last 2 seasons and that little silly wristband squabble are, I don't know red flags. May be not the biggest issues around but we've been through the Favre drama for the last 2 years, first year was good last year had lots of issues (ego, health, texting his doodle). Now McNabb may have a big chip to prove something to the Eagles and Skins and that could work great but he could also want things done his way and I would rather do something different from that this year.
