Keep in mind this is the first real hitting/pads practice. DL will have a big advantage over OL.

True, but I don't think it will get much better. Our D-line is one of the best in the NFL, and our O-line is one of the worst.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

That's what they signed Johnson for, but if he goes down, Cook is probably the guy. Wish we still had Hicks for that type of role.

The Vikings on Monday signed former Colts tackle Charlie Johnson to replace McKinnie, who was released this week because of conditioning issues
Hicks? Are you saying Hicks right now, or Hicks of old?
    Hicks of old.

Jared Allen has begun the torturing of Charlie Johnson. Everson Griffen doing the same to Thomas Welch with 2 straight sacks.

    Quote:
Mistral Raymond and Jamarca Sanford are second team safeties. Chris Cook (LC), Marcus Sherels (slot) and Brandon Burton at CBs

    Quote:
Wow, four touch-sacks in eight snaps for defensive line. Oline is a mess.

    Quote:
Johnson's gettin destroyed. Two more "sacks" by Jared Allen. Second one he got out of stance slowly and never touched him.

    Quote:
Various offensive lines are struggling in a big way with McNabb latest to have whistle blown because he would have been sacked.
    Reassuring....

    @TomPelissero:

Frazier said Ryan Cook "more than likely" would start at right guard if Anthony Herrera can't. DeGeare staying at tackle for now. #Vikings

I wouldn't say he's got cement shoes. Maybe one, but not two. I've seen him spin like a revolving door/turnstile on many an occasion.

What is your bet on McNabb?

My guess with Herrera was he was cleared to practice so that they could gauge how much swelling/pain he was gonna have.

Probably had more than they expected.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Sounds about right Marr, just frustrating is all.
