Vikings place qualifying offer on Burleson

I was kinda split.. I thought he would be a decent number 1..

But I was saying I want to see him beat number 1 corners all season before we give him a contract..

But to his defense he was hurt all year.. And we had Brad and Pep at QB..

Pep or Brad weren't exactly lighting it up

I could really care less if he stays or if he leaves.. I am not going to get all excited if we don't match an offer to him. Yes he was injured all last season, but hey that crap happens. At best he will be a #2-#3 reciever in his career.

On a second note. I think Edinger's days as a Viking are done.. I really do believe that we are going after either Vanderjagt, or Vinateri..

I will always have Burly's back. The only reason he struggled was because the whole offensive scheme sucked. Bring him back and put him in a functioning offense and he will be a starter for years to come.

I hope Burleson comes back, I just got his jersey for Christmas! If he does come back though he's gonna have to step up and make some plays. Maybe under the Childress regime he'll be able to do that.

Exactly. Dont get me wrong I love every single last one of our WR's...but thier all replaceable. Right now with a set up of Burley,K-Rob, TT, T-Roy,and M-ROb is a pretty damn good set up. I'd like to see us maybe add someone like randle el or a WR maybe in the third or fourth just to add a little depth. I think K-Rob and T-Roy are gonna both have a big year next year.
