Years and years of historical study and research suggests that the Vikings might be the only team in the NFL named after an ancient Scandinavian horde of raiders and pillagers.
What do you guys think we'll go after in the draft??? Perhaps a young QB to succeed Brad Johnson in a couple years??? O-line help??? Defense??? Best player available???
I'm still not sold on our 2005 draft. Marcus Johnson, I believe will eventually become a solid starter, but not a shut down o-lineman. Dovonte Edwards, is in my opinion, awesome, but I think we was an undrafted free agent. And, I am much less than impressed with Williamson. At least from what he's demonstrated thus far, he seems to be nothing more than speed. Below average hands. I've never been a fan of late risers on draft boards, which is what he was, if I remember correctly last year. I seem to remember a lot of draft boards showing us using the 7 pick on Mike Williams or defense, and then boom draft day is here and we picked Williamson.

We still haven't won a Super Bowl....ever. Damnit to hell!
Fortunately, Mike Williams hasn't shown much either. Jury still out on that pick.

I'm pretty sure that Brodie Croyle, Charlie Whitehurst and Omar Jacobs will get hard looks at QB. I could also see another LB, and I saw a mock draft yesterday that still had us picking up Lendale White or DeAngelo Williams (even after the Taylor signing). I personally would like to see us draft Winston Justice (OT) if he's still available.Quote:

I think that we should look to steal BRUCE EUGENE, the kid out of Grambling. He threw like 50 TD's last year.

Does anyone know for sure when the 2nd rounder for Culpepper is. I was led to believe it will be the 2007 draft.Quote:
