Interesting read....though draft needs are going to change daily once the free agent spree begins.
I actually see us making a small splash in free agency again this year.
Try to find the best player/best value combination at some of our needs.
We have many of them, so maybe we will even work some trade angles.

I possibly see MeMo (sorry VikingQuee), not being in Viking uniform next year, though I am not sure what we could get for him since I believe there may be a lack of perceived value for him.
We don't have him on the field that often, we have traded for a RB and taken AD while we have had him, so maybe he is not that good.

In addition, no one is really saying all that much about the long term and short term diagnosis for Kenechi.
Regarding MeMo....we can't get ANYTHING for him...he is a Free Agent.

"Moore led the Vikings in rushing two seasons ago with 662 yards on 155 attempts but this year had only 20 carries and 26 touches total on offense. Moore did return punts but it's almost certain the free agent will depart this offseason."

    Very nice read.

Gonna be alot of people upset when they go S first then DE.

    Not me.
I drool at the idea of getting Kenny Phillips.
We definately need some youth at safety. I like Phillips also but still think moving Griffin to safety and picking up one of the excellent corners available in this draft could be an interesting alternative.
I doubt that would happen but it sounds remotely possible. I feel Griffin would actually be a better safety than corner!
DE at 17 would not surprise me either.
This is a difficult draft to predict.
    Nothing will surprise me.
What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. Its the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"
