I think everyone agrees that we need to make new stars in Minnesota. But that does not necessarily mean that we have to draft a new QB.

i know, nice theory.
does anyone care who the face is if they turn out to be other faces of franchises like cade mcnown, akili smith, joey harrington, and on and on.
i think anyone that gets excited just cuz you have a new face for the franchise than you are not actually a fan, you are a casual watcher.

Drafting a TOP 10 QB is always a crapt shoot.
It would be great to get a franchise player at the position, but it's always a gamble.
We need a P. MANNING not a J. HARRINGTON.

I am just fine with Birk and Hutch being the "face of the franchise!!"
When the line doesn't play well, if doesn't matter who else is on the team!
Just ask Randy about last year's Raiders, or Hasselbeck about last year's Seachicken, or any of the recent DET or CLE or HOU QBs!!!

In fact, I think I'll be ticked if they spend a first day pick on a QB!

Just by staring at the mug I'm starting to miss Meathead a little.
Not for his coaching skills, but just the type of guy he was.
I'm sure the Chiller will work out fine, but you had to like Meathead's personality.
