better then the options we have right now too..

Bring in one of those 2 or a rookie like Omar Jacobs
    Agreed.

But, what if Brad goes down. And then Joey has to play.

Let BJ and Bevell get their hands on Joey and I think he could work out.... Maybe...

Well, when you put it like that...it doesn't sound so good. If he's just there to relay the plays to Brad, then maybe it could work out--- does he have his hand signals down?

Why do I get this feeling that the Vikes are going to go after Jay Cutler???? It's just a "gut" feeling but gads I would hate to give away three draft choices to get him. But I hear some people may think he may fall to 17.
Maybe because you read this a few days back?

Vikings | Childress does not rule out trading up in the NFL Draft
    Tue, 14 Mar 2006 20:59:12 -0800

Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress did not rule out packaging several draft picks, they now own the 17th, 48th and 51st picks, to move up in the first round and select one of the draft's three premier quarterbacks: USC's Matt Leinart, Texas' Vince Young and Vanderbilt's Jay Cutler. "You look at all those eventualities and see if you feel like there is something," Childress said.

I agree with Vikez on this one. I believe that Harrington was just under coached.. He has talent, and could possibly be good under the wing of Brad Johnson, Brad Childress, and Darrell Bevell..

I would for sure take him over Nall, Hill, and O' Sucksalot, sorry I mean O' Sullivan..

I wonder how long they would plan on keeping Joey or Brooks? Is it to hopefully have them start in a few years? If so I would go with a rookie instead

But if it's strickly back up duties then im cool with Brooks or Joey

With the right coach I think you could turn Ryan Leaf and Tim Couch around too. If thats the case, then lets just take a decent arm in the draft and groom him from the start before they pick up all those bad habits and lose their confidence.

I'm all for going after Joey, but that's a pretty good point...
