Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings OT Bryant McKinnie said last month he didn't want to remain with the Vikings if they traded QB Daunte Culpepper. Now however, McKinnie, who will enter the final year of his contract, said he is open to remaining with the team. "If I get to the point where I'm at the end of my contract, then of course I'm going to look around," McKinnie said. "But they don't need to trade me right now because he's gone."

He'll see this year that Minny is the place for him. We're going to win plenty of games and he won't want to leave.

Now the question becomes, will he stay after this year. My guess is that if we let him hit the open market we're gonna have problems. Lock him up ASAP.
