How about just Brad Johnson and no draft picks.

Matt is a RFA.

The deal sounds too good to be true. I would be tickled to death if
it comes true!!

Then trade down if Gaines is not there at 7th for a 2nd and we're
good to go!!

No, he's a RESTRICTED free agent.

I don't think that Schaub is any better than Carr is.

huh.... well in that case... I hope the deal goes through, I would like to have him.
For some reason I though he was unrestricted though.

He's an RFA with a 1st and 3rd round tender.
I would be surprised to see this go through, but if it does, then so be it.
It would be a pretty good move on the part of the Vikes IMHO.

Seems like a gamble to me. I would have rather they go after Carr, since he has experience as a starter. We already have back-up QB's on the roster. :
