Vikings, Lewis come to terms
I saw that Marrdro alluded to this in a different thread, but I thought I'd link to an article on it:

I'll never forget how, during that last drive against the Niners, I looked down on the field for Harvin, saw that he was on the sidelines and then said (out loud, but mostly to myself since Mars had already left) "Is that freaking Greg Lewis on the field?" LOL!Vikings, Lewis come to terms

INDIANAPOLIS - The Vikings reduced their list of potential free agents by one.
The team and receiver Greg Lewis agreed on a one-year contract this weekend at the NFL scouting combine. That leaves the Vikings with four players that are due to become unrestricted free agents as of 11:01 p.m. Thursday. The list includes running back Chester Taylor; defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy; cornerback Benny Sapp; and offensive lineman Artis Hicks. The Vikings had preliminary meetings with all the representatives for their free agents at the combine and talks are ongoing.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re:Vikings, Lewis come to terms
I think his ST's play alone warranted a offer. Glad he stuck around.
I for one will always remember that catch as one of my top two Vikings plays (Moss Toss is #1)Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I was so happy when I read this. Without him, who would we throw to when theres 12 seconds left and we need a TD?
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Re:Vikings, Lewis come to terms
No doubt he has fully put himself into Vikes lore forever ... and for that reason alone I am very happy to have him back on board.
He also, as Marrdro said, performed fairly well on STs. With how close this team came, there are not many "additions" we can make, we might as well stick with as many of those who got us there as possible.
WR is not a spot where I think we should look to spend time, money or picks in trying to make an upgrade, so keeping a veteran presence around is a good thing.

That news is about as exciting as finding out you won a free coupon for the penis guillotine.
