No love for Juaquin Iglesias?
I liked him coming out of OU. He didn't do fuck all for the Bears, but i wouldn't be shocked if he made the squad. Pleasantly surprised, but not shocked.

He doesn't live up to the legacy of the number.

Reports from camp give no indication on any show of skill from him. In the NFL, you need to prove that you belong on a roster, not give reasons that you don't.
If he is just ok, not making mistakes, but not getting peoples attention, that's not good enough.
There's too much competition for only 5 roster spots
So far, I see three locks:
Harvin
Berrian
Jenkins
after that, two spots between 10ish guys
I see:
Jaymar
Aromashodu
After that, Camarillo and Arceneaux would be the next up.
If we carried 8 receivers, he might have a shot. Unfortunately for him, we don't.

Re: Vikings to keep 5 WR's
Have reports from camp said much about Aromashodu or Arceneaux either?
The only thing I can find about this year's TC is Judd Zulgad's and Chip Scoggin's twitter, and a few star trib articles. Probably not the same atmosphere this year with catching up after the lockout and adjustment to less physical camps.

Re: Vikings to keep 5 WR's
Aromashodu was only allowed to practice starting yesterday, so no, not mucha bout him.

I've heard Arceneaux's name pop up a bunch of times on the receiving end of good passes or whatnot. I have not once heard Iglesias' name.

Well what's that then 1 week of TC, a few days of practice as a full team? Too early to count anyone out imo.

Re: Vikings to keep 5 WR's
sure, but Jaymars been around a few years now, and every season he makes the team. He has been worked as a Punt Returner too, which we need. Cam I see being cut, as he hasn't done enough to show he deserves the spot, and if Jaymar takes over punts, he's not really needed.

The last spot I think is down to Aromashodu vs. anyone else. It's definitely something that can be taken by someone who shows they really want it, but they ahve to show something.
