Even then, it isn't easy.

Never heard of any of these guys. Anyone else?

Nope.
Never heard of Mills until last year either and now thats all everyone is clamoring for just cause he made a couple of catches.

he's the same as TJ last year.
Eveyone loved him becuse he made a couple nice plays, but never really got any game time.
I just hope that if he gets his chance, he doesn't disappoint like some other recent players.

That's usually all it takes for a player to be called a "Beast" here by some.

Does Jason Carter ring a bell? One TD catch & he was slobbered over all season long.

LOL, I did do some digging on the DE yesterday but there sure isn't much.
Basically the same info regurged by several during the draft.

I always gauge a player like this off of the staff that brought him in.
The Pats are pretty good at evaluating talent (ala Mills).
If they brought him in it must have been for a reason.

Again, it is all speculation at this point, however, they could be right and find a gem here like they did with OTIS last year.

WTF!? Marcus and Drew are nursing injuries as well!

With the Vikings thin at defensive end even after the Norwell signing, defensive tackle Ellis Wyms could see some time outside.

I would imagine he will make the roster.

The other side of the coin is that a player that does not excel on one team, can excel on another team that runs a different system. The opposite is also true & is more common, IMO. A player can be a superstar on one team, but put him on another team that runs a different offensive/defensive scheme & that players production drops.

We saw that happen with both Smoot & Sharper.
