The Vikings have signed three free agents.
http://www.vikings.com/NewsBlogArticle_dayeightteen081108.aspx
Those players are OL Sean Dumford from Eastern Kentucky, DE Chris Norwell from Illinois and OL Brock Pasteur from Stephen F. Austin. The Vikings had to make room on the roster for those three players, so Heath Farwell, Mike Jones, and Jayme Mitchell will all be placed on injured reserve tomorrow.

Re: The Vikings have signed three free agents.
We should get Brock Lesnar back, I bet he could play some LDE.
He's most definetally got the speed and quickness for end

Haven't looked at the OL yet, however, it appears (not much out there) Norwell played DE and some DT in school."marstc09" wrote:

A bit to tall for me when I think about DT's.
My guess is he is a guy the Pats were trying to sneak to thier practice squad (again) and we have a need.
Lets see what kindof calls we get from the Pats Head Shed.

Re: The Vikings have signed three free agents.
Why does it matter if the guy is too tall?
As long as he can get low and get leverage over the C/G, it really doesn' matter.
If he can do that, and be tall, thats even better, because he'll have better reach and more of a chance at knocking some balls down.

Quick question, how DT's you seen out there over 6'3/6'4".
Not many my friend and the few that could be found are unique kindof beasts and if this cat was one of them, he wouldn't have gone undrafted.
Again, not much out there so I am only speculating at this point.

I doubt we could entice him back.
Besides, his favorite number is gone...Zeus wrote:
