Yeah, I wonder where the mods are?? It won't be long until all those deleted users will be deleted again.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

That's why they should trade for Donnie Edwards and then draft DeAngelo Williams at #17 (OR one of the TOP OL)...then take D'Qwell in the second round and then Whitehurst, Jacobs, Clemons or Croyle in the second or third (depending which draft choice they have to spend for Edwards and who is still on the board when they pick.

And I suppose you guys think that you are enlightening the Vikings' coaching staff regarding the QB issue. I sure hope they read this thread so they know that the long-term solution to QB isn't resolved yet."faninphx" wrote:

To me it just sounds like pre-draft speak. But if they truly do feel they are set at all positions and can just draft the best player on the board; there are some real good players available in this draft that we will have a shot at."singersp" wrote:

I just have a hard time convincing myself that they are set at linebacker.
But maybe that's part of their smoke screen.
At any rate; I think this makes it more exciting considering the best player available instead of specific needs.
Historically most coaches believe that taking the best player available in the draft is a more successful approach than reaching for a specific need.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Re: Vikings have plenty of draft options
I think that if the vikes think we have so much depth then we should move up and try to get a more impactful player. like vince young.
