One of the most obvious signs of Minnesota's offensive struggles last season was the failure to move the chains on third down....

This is a good sign considering the major difficulties we seemed to have on third down at times last season. The only major problem ... Childress worked on it then ... lets hope a year in the saddle has him making the important adjustments.

Sometimes (but only occasionally) last year I can honestly say that I would have rather seen a deep pass picked off then a three yard pass on third and long.
Give the fans something to get their blood pumping for, and keep the secondary honest.
Plus, you never know.
