Re: Vikings expected to pursue Daniel Graham and Ashley Lelie
I say even go as far as to give up next years 2nd round pick and whatever else to get CJ. He is a freak of nature. We need him extremely bad, and as we know, receivers can have huge impacts even as just rookies.
Take Johnson and then get Quentin Moses in the 2nd. Makes so much sense. If we trade up of course.

Good article on what the Vikings are possibly planning to do in FA and the draft.

This guy most have stayed up all night with that guess work, I highly doubt we will draft a running back that high. I think a lot of smoke screens are being put up right now, and with how tight lipped they are at Winterpark, I doubt anyone knows the real story. In the end, I can pretty much assume that Childress will do the exact opposite that everyone wants him to do, just because thats the type of guy he seems to be. Prepare to be dissappointed......Good article on what the Vikings are possibly planning to do in FA and the draft.

I agree there probably are some smoke screens set up, it is really interesting though, because it seems like we have so many options with our #7 pick that there is no telling what we are going to do or who we will draft.

From Pro Football Talk...
GRAHAM TO VIKINGS?

Albert Breer of the Boston Herald reports that tight end Daniel Graham is not expected to re-sign with the Patriots.
Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that the Vikings are expected to be one of the teams that make a run at Graham.
To make room for Graham, the Vikings are expected to part ways with veteran Jermaine Wiggins.
Minnesota also is expected to make a run at receiver Ashley Lelie, per Jensen.
There is some scattered talk in league circles that the Vikings will pursue Eagles receiver Donte' Stallworth.
But others insist that the Vikings are not planning to target Stallworth, who emerged in 2006 in the same offense that the Vikings now run.Kentucky Vikes Fan

Patriots | Graham will test market
Tue, 27 Feb 2007 08:00:05 -0800
Albert Breer, of the Metrowest Daily News, reports the agent for New England Patriots pending free agent TE Daniel Graham says Graham will test the market and does not plan to re-sign with the team before March 2. "He's open to (coming back)," said agent Jack Mills. "But now that he's come this far, he really wants to look around and see what's out there."
