Vikings creative ways to work out during lockout
Vikings finding creative ways to work out during lockout*Guard Anthony Herrera, who lives in Minneapolis full time, now works out at Higher Power Training with lineman Ryan Cook and a few others.
Not much of an article, however, I posted it cause I found this quite interesting.
Most on here don't like him, but I sure would love to see Cook resigned. I wonder if his living arrangements might help, along with the anticipated shortened FA window, might help to keep him here.
Guys that can step in and play 4 of 5 positions are pretty important IMHO, especially when you are talking OL and the need for all of them to be comfortable with what the other is going to do.Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Yeah Cook isnt a starter, but he is good depth - he can fill in at the entire offensive line as a backup and i think that he is safe, unless he gets signed elsewhere - but he will have to wait and see how this whole free agency mess with the cba is gonna work out

Personally I dont see any value in keeping a guy who sucks just because he sucks at multiple positions.
There are more competent role players to be had in FA.

But at what price?

Couple that with the "Familiarity" requirement and I don't think one can say that Cook sucks, just because he played about the same way Loadholt has over his brief carreer at RT.

Agree. I wouldn't give him starter money thats for sure, but I bet he will get offers, atleast a few that might be out of our reach.
