Vikings could go with big name in the first round.
People write titles to their articles like this and people read them as if they have something new or exciting to say.
Someone randomly pulls an equally retarded thread title out and it's open season.
I'm sticking with the prediction.
Vague, meaningless, and fits right into the mock madness theme.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. Mark Twain

Re: Vikings could go with big name in the first round.
So...how are we defining a BIG name?
Is that a name with more than 10 total letters in it?
Is that for both first and last names, or just one of the names has to be big?
Erasmus James wouldn't qualify on first-name only, but if you add in his last name as well, he's easily a BIG name guy.
Same goes for most guys, so maybe the letter count has to be @ 15?
So, using the 15 letter requirement, I agree that the Vikings will indeed draft a BIG name guy at some point in the draft....probably several of them.
Whether or not they can actually PLAY...well....that's another story.

Re: Vikings could go with big name in the first round.
How do you know? We might trade away that pick.

Re: Vikings could go with big name in the first round.
We've drafted many big name players.
Demetrius Underwood was a big name player.
Tarvaris Jackson would fit the bill as a big name player.
But ther ehave been lots of smaller name players, like Moss and Hovan.
I think Adimchinobe Echemandu Was the biggest name we've ever signed
