I used to worry about the opening of our schedule a lot but seriously, in 2006 we started our 2-0 and ended 6-10. 2007 we won our first game and went 8-8. Meanwhile, the Giants lose their first two games and all they did was win a superbowl.

The season is 16 games, it doesn't matter how you start, it matters how you finish.
That's the way I see it as well. If we are 0-4 we may not recover. But if we are 1-3 we have a shot. Anything better will be a very good sign IMO.

We'll go 0 and 4 because that is our style, we seem to like losing more in the first half of the year and winning the second half. It makes watching bandwagoners more amusing
    Funny.
Not sure how you get that going 0 and 4 is our style........ :

Funny, because I said losing more in the first half is our style. So take your rolling eyes and use them when it is actually warranted

    1. Aaron Rodgers is making his 1st start, oh wait, he torched the Dallas D, im scared, we lose
    2. Yeah we probably are gonna lose
    3. They have steve smith on offense and no running game, im REALLY scared
    4. VY is the most overated QB, right now he is a taller TJack, and The freak is over the hill, and Haynesworth only plays the 1st 3 quarters.

    i say 2-2 at worst

Why don't we look ahead to week 16 at the Falcons.
They have Michael Turner, Roddy White, and John Abraham.

    OMG!
    THREE talented players!
    We're going to lose!

So what you are saying is that it will not be possibly to correctly predict the outcome of the games for the coming season?
Shit, are you serious?! I was planning on doing things other than watching football this fall. I assumed that I already knew all of the outcomes already anyways.
Well, fuck all. Now I have to actually watch the games.

SharperImage, you do realize that the quality of many, many teams shifts from year to year, yeah? Pretty much every single year there is a team that goes from best to worst in their division; just as there is a team that goes from last to first. And in between there is all kinds of shifting.

Take a team like the Panthers. Who the hell knows what they'll look like? They could be absolutely terrible or they could own their division. They have talent, but they also have many questions marks. One could argue that the Vikings are basically in the same situation. We could go 0-16. We could go 16-0.

    Don't think about it.

To bad I had to break that news to you.

So if T-Jack plays poorly and we go 0-4, we will be in trouble?
    Wow.
Never looked at it that way.
    That's insightful.

Suggestion for ya buddy. I would cut out with the high and might sarcasm. First post about the Falcons was funny. This was almost a personal attack and was uncalled for. Especially against a more veteran member like GG. He is a solid poster and I wouldn't push it early on here.....you will do nothing but put a target on your back

Even some Packer fans survive here without a problem and are well liked. I am sure it shouldn't be to hard for you to ease up a bit.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!
