Charles Casserly doesn’t even consider Newton to be a first round pick. He lacks the vision and instincts required and Gabbert just has better overall football sense.

Charlie has been saying that for most of the offseason. Cat is usually pretty accurate with his assements.

Seems that after his pro-day, some of the questions on his mechanics were answered and most have Locker ahead of Newton now on alot of boards.

Hmmmmm, Casserly is pretty well respected around the league. Probably not on the scale of Gil Brandt when it comes to recognizing/scouting talent, but like Gil, he's not a GM cause he doesn't want to be one.

Hmmmmm, Casserly is pretty well respected around the league. Probably not on the scale of Gil Brandt when it comes to recognizing/scouting talent, but like Gil, he's not a GM cause he doesn't want to be one.

I think dfosterf is alluding to the fact that Charlie Casserly is the master of the fake world (mocks), but, he sucks at real life as a GM. Any moron can string together a mock, he failed at real life so he's a mocker and respected among the mock crowd.

I hear ya my friend, but I believe Charlie has turned down GM jobs, gotta go look, but atleast one in the last 2 years or so.

Again, he isn't a GM cause he sucks, he just doesn't want the grind anymore.
