Eric Weddle would be a great pick up for the Vikings and one that makes a ton of sense. We have heard rumblings all offseason that the Vikes should be interested in this solid productive safety.Quote:

Nice to see that Frazier and the front office agree.
Fraizer was a DB, a secondary coach and a DC. He knows that at least one of our current starting safeties should not be starting.Quote:

I just hope we get him. He can't be any worse than either of our current starters at S..
He was an All-Pro safety last year. This guy would be a perfect fit for us.
Not only would Weddle be a perfect fit but we would finally have a total badass in the secondary! He is a playmaker..cut Madeu and move on. He is a game changer
He's listed at 5'11" but I think he's a little shorter. That's usually a concern for a safety. But this guy is tremendous and would be the best safety the Vikings have had in awhile.Quote:

Weddle is a leader, a tough sonafabithch, and a good kid. He is a go to guest on Sirius XM NFL Radio with Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan...head is screwed on correctly. Hope this happens, a Sirius upgrade IMO.
I like the idea of getting him, especially if we can save some cash over M-will, but does anyone really think that Leslie is the one asking for a replacment?
Lets not forget that glowing endoursement Leslie gave M-will.
I see the FO pukes saying no to the coaching staff and going after someone they think will make us better. Maybe at the request of our new D-coord perhaps.
Yes, I bet he is the one asking for a replacement. Lets not forget how excited we all were to get M-Will, but ever since his neck injury, he just hasn't seemed nearly the same.Quote:

If Fraizer is hell-bent on keeping M-Will then IMO it's no better than Childress who hung onto the TJ project for 5 years.
