    Thanks for the read Slav.

I find it kindof interesting that AD has gone from the "Star" of the team, to possibly in the HC's doghouse in just a short time.

For this, I blame the Noodle.

In the end, just a quick shout out......... Hey AD, I'm still on your side my friend. Hang in there champ.

I like it. Adds another solid option. Our Backfield is really turning from iffy to quite solid. Moats is a capable back, and him as a #3 here makes me quite comfortable.

I like the signing but worry about roster spots for youngsters like Albert, Johnson and Reynaud.

Haven't seen Moats play much but remember some clips from his Philly days where he seemed like Westbrook-Lite. He had that same bouncy/weavy small-bodied running style. I wouldn't be suprised to see him used as a 3rd down back on pass/screen situations.

Oh well we will see what happens. Happy with the signing.

I don't really see the need for this move. Why have a billion rb's? Let the guys we have compete.

Fumbled 3 times last year on 114 touches. 1 in 38 touches. For his career he has fumbled 6 times on 224 touches. 1 in 37.33 touches.
    AD
    2009 7 of 359 touches. 1 in 51.29
    career 20 of 998 touches. 1 in 49.9

    Just saying.

It gives the coaches a lot more confidence they leave camp with the right RB3 and RB4.

I like the signing, Moats has had injury trouble in the past, but he has always flashed big-time potential.

I would think it puts a ton of pressure on A Young and not so much on Reynaud as Moats is really a 1st/2nd down kind of back.

More than anything else, I like the experience he brings to the unit and the level of competition...

    Oh oh!
What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. Its the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

    Re:Vikings beef up their backfield

Regardless of Peterson's status, it makes sense to have at least one experienced hand for depth purposes. It's not uncommon for teams to use organized team activities and minicamps to test young players and then fill in perceived roster gaps afterward.
Hmmmm: Vikings sign RB Ryan Moats
Hmmmmm, drafted a RB high, brought in a cheap Westbrook/CT, might spell the doom for IJ and AY.
