the only problem with Arrington is that you need a very disciplined defense to play cover 2 correctly and well. Arrington is out of Washington because he plays by the seat of his pants. Very well I might add, but not very disciplined.

Living near DC and working there, I have seen plenty of LaVar Arrington...and while I like him as an athlete...he is WAY too undisciplined to play in our new defense...he likes to gamble too much and is much more suited as an OLB than a MLB as suggested earlier.

I agree with you, damien...NO LeVar for us!!!

I had us taking Williams in the draft, some time back now. And today I still say thats who we go with.

I think he will be a great WCO type RB.

He reminds me of some guy named Edge....

Time will only tell....

Arrington, I'de take him if his price was resonable.....for a one year contract, tops...

I'm with you regarding DeAngelo...I have said it before and will say it again...DeAngelo is this year's Cadillac...and they even have the same last name to boot!

Of course, if we somehow got Edge first, we would be better off using the pick to fill another need...most likely an OLineman that could start immediately...I am thinking McNeill at RT and put Marcus Johnson at RG.

I disagree on Arrington though...he is a disruptive force on a team...that is why Gregg Williams and Joe Gibbs gave up on him...and for those who doubt Gregg Williams judgment, remember that he was the guy that we all wanted before he re-upped with the Redskins...and lest we forget, Joe Gibbs didn't get into the HOF for nothing either! :grin:

Arrington seemed like he is a humble guy now that just loves to play. from the interviews i have seen the benching of him hit him hard and humbled him.

Later in the season last year, I thought I was seeing changes in Arringtons attitude also, I'm just thinking maybe he could and would make that final turnaround attitude wise with a team change. I also believe he has shown us all a sign of what I mean by him wanting out of DC, by forking back all that money to be let go.

I say give the guy a shot...with a one year cotract. We could surely learn where he's coming from in that time.
