    Re: Vikings 7 Round Mock

    It means In My Opinion..

We could trade down a bit and get an extra first day pick possibly I agree.. Just get Maroney if we don't upgrade on our RB position

i dont think maroney is equal to white
    maroney's att 281 yards 1464 TD 11 avg 5.2
    to
    White's att 197 yards 1302 TD 26 avg 6.6

even if the USC line is better, i heard about min's line being great as well so i dont think it would matter that much.
whites avg is better, td is significantly better, and he even has better receiving stats
Maroney only has more yards because he has like 80 more attempts

so i dont think you could say maroney is better

Maroney disappeared as the year went on and might have been the second best RB on the Gophers behind Gary Russell at the end of the year. I would take LenDale or DeAngelo Williams in a heartbeat over Maroney, because Maroney cannot break tackles and doesn't run well in heavy traffic.

Maroney reminds me of Darrell Thompson and Chris Darkins who were great RBs in college and turned out to be duds for the team that drafted them which was the Packers in both cases. lol

That would be bad jiggly butt!!

Maroney is a stud and people will start to know it more after the combine

Howard would shore up our LB's nicely

Hunter I don't know much about.. But B-will will be gone.. More depth

Slay hits like a frickin truck! PPE and I are really high on this dude
Yeah...you both HAVE to be high to want that guy...WAY too slow to be successful in Cover 2!

That's why he would be a 4th round pick Caj haha.. Maybe develop him?

Maroney got hurt for a few games so would have even more yards and TD's..

Plus we had very little passing game with Brian Cupito at QB.. They were able to stack more people at the line..

It will help ur stats when u got Leinart as ur QB and good WR's and a line with 2 possible 1st-2nd rounders.. And u get the ball on the goalline..

Remember a couple years back when Moe Williams got 11 TD's? Yah same deal here.. He was thier goal line back

I like your draft but I have a feeling that Maroney and White will both be gone by the time we pick. Baltimore and Philly are looking for backs so I could see them going early. Once Maroney show his skills at the combine I bet his stock goes up big time. I would then think we would try for DeMeco Ryans or Marcus McNeill. I would like it if we grabbed Maroney ...I just have a feeling he won't be there.

Maroney should still be on board.. Lendale maybe even..

Philly is gonna get Santonio Holmes most likley..

I see Baltimore grabbing a back as well too.. Maybe O-line help

I know philly needs a wide out but I also have heard the Reid loves Maroney and also is friends with Mason which is why they drafted Tapeh a few years back. I could see them going for david givens in free agency and drafting Maroney...but I also could see them going with Holmes with there pick. I hope we get Maroney I think he could be a great back in the NFL!
