Vikez Mock Number 2
Updated mock after Senior Bowl and College skills comp and after I decided to put more time into each team..
1. Houston -- Reggie Bush, RB, USC
Ummm Yah.. Do I need to say anything?
2. New Orleans -- Matt Leinart, QB, USC
Obviously need a QB
3. Tennessee -- Vince Young, QB, Texas
Steve Mcnair's boy here.. And he is obviously getting old
4. New York Jets -- D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia
Thier line is in extreme need for help..
5. Green Bay -- A.J. Hawk, LB, Ohio State
Speedy LB to improve the D right off the bat
6. Oakland -- Haloti Ngata, DT, Oregon
Awesome Dt.. Need D help quick
7. San Francisco -- Mario Williams, DE, NC State
He's a freak.. They need this guy on D
8. Buffalo -- Tamba Hali, DE, Penn State
Nice Senior bowl performance.. Keeps rising
9. Detroit -- Jay Cutler, QB, Vanderbilt
Get Joey outta there! They are sick of Garcia and Joey
10. Arizona -- DeAngelo Williams, RB, Memphis
Need a RB hardcore.. They try so many and they never work
11. St. Louis -- Chad Greenway, LB, Iowa
Need a LB to help that horrid D
12. Cleveland -- DeMeco Ryans, LB, Alabama
LB is a huge hole there for them.. Ryans is an instant upgrade
13. Baltimore -- Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College
Is gonna keep slipping.. Got dominated at the Senior bowl
14. Philadelphia -- Santonio Holmes, WR, Ohio State
Who do they got? Yah Holmes perfect fit here
15. Atlanta -- Michael Huff, DB, Texas
Could use some secondary help.. Carpenter blows
16. Miami -- Omar Jacobs, QB, Bowling Green
Need a QB greatly.. Frerote doesn't cut it.. May be a little early but it's thier biggest need
17. Minnesota -- Laurence Maroney, RB, Minnesota
Proves in combine he is faster and better back then Lendale and a better fit in the WCO
18. Dallas -- Winston Justice, OT, USC
Tackles are weak.. Instant starter
19. San Diego -- Ko Simpson, DB, South Carolina
Safety is thier worst position.. Would fit good there
20. Kansas City -- Jimmy Williams, DB, Virginia Tech
Pretty good D.. Could use a CB.. Warfield isn't too special
21. New England -- LenDale White, RB, USC
Slips a bit and N.E is thrilled.. Corey Dillon's replacement.. Fit's the same mold as well
22. Denver (from Wash.) -- Chad Jackson, WR, Florida
Keeps impressing and Denver snags him... Great skills competition (Amazing 1 hand grab)
23. Tampa Bay -- Marcus McNeil, OT, Auburn
D isn't a problem...All around good O.. Could use protection
24. Cincinnati -- Claude Wroten, DT, LSU
Best DT but slips due to trouble.. Smooths out thier biggest need
25. New York Giants -- Ernie Sims, LB, Florida State
Huge LB problems.. Sims helps from the get-go
26. Chicago -- Vernon Davis, TE, Maryland
Biggest steal in the 1st round.. Drops alot due to bigger needs for other teams.. Bears need a TE..
27. Carolina -- Jonathan Scott, OT, Texas
Would line up well across Gross
28. Denver -- Darnell Bing, DB, USC
Lynch and Bing.. I would be scared!
29. Jacksonville -- Mercedes Lewis, TE, UCLA
Doesn't need much.. Good TE here
30. Indianapolis -- Tye Hill, CB, Clemson
D is thier biggest problem.. Get a decent CB
31. Seattle -- Manny Lawson, DE/LB, NC State
Seattle's line is weak.. Manny would be a good fit there
32. Pittsburgh-- Sinorice Moss, WR, Miami
Randle El leaves in the FA and they get a replacement with Moss

Re: Vikez Mock Number 2
There were a few players I wanted to get in there like Max Jean Gilles and Antonio Cromitie.. And possibly that CB from Ohio State.. Youboty or something.. But it was tough to find places them..
Next mock might include a few more that should make the 1st round

What does everyone think? Solid?

Re: Vikez Mock Number 2
Think it looks pretty solid. The only thing that I would argue is the Fins picking Omar Jacobs. I think they could probably get a comparable QB, if not Jacobs himself, in the second round. Plus, I think if the talent evaluators realize that they can't get a premium QB in round one, they will use Ricky Williams as trade bait for a proven QB.
Other than that, gj!

Re: Vikez Mock Number 2
I don't really follow college football much, but from what I have seen, Chad Greenway looks like the real deal and I want him bad.
I can see that he looks like he's going top 15, but what do you guys think the chances are of him falling to us??? I think he's be perfect for our Cover 2 system too, cuz we're gonna need some fast linebackers.
Thanks PPE for the sig.

Re: Vikez Mock Number 2
All I got is that Mario Williams doesn't fit San Fran's 3-4 defense.

Re: Vikez Mock Number 2
Omar Jacobs is not a first rounder, or 2nd, or probably even 3rd rounder.
