Living in South florida I can honestly say we do not need Sammie Morris.
He is not good at all.
He'll break a nice run once in a while but he's nothing more than a mini Michael bennett.

All this does is solidify my thoughts that Childress hates MeMo.
MeMo has been very good for this team.
He runs very well and can do just about everything.
He has even improved on his blocking skills.

Sammie Morris over MeMo would be a downgrade at the RB position.

I'm a fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
There are some players on the squad that I support, if they do their jobs.
Never been much of an individual player fan.
MeMo has flashes of brilliance, but he is as mediocre as they come at RB.

i dont understand this at all..we have taylor, moore, fason..a legit starter, an above average backup, and a 3rd stringer loaded with potential

Unless the guy is some kind of special teams stud, it makes little sense.

But the Vikings look at all kinds of guys all year. So this probably doesn't mean much.

I don't see why everyone thinks we need another running back. We have chester (did great last season), moore, fasion, and pinner. Don't pick him up. Just a waist of money.

We have talented backup RB's, not to mention a great starter in Chester Taylor, and here we are wasting our time looking at mediocre RB's in FA.. :

While we should be talking with almost all of the FA WR's, we are sitting at a stand still..

Totally agreed with you except I wouldn't totally mind drafting a RB in the 4th round. After all we have gotten some pretty good running backs in that spot including Onterrio Smith, Mewelde Moore, and Ciatrick Fason that is if he proves himself in the season rather then preseason.
