Re: Vikes have the value to move up to #5

If we are going to package our first 3 picks and trade up, the ONLY person worth pursuing is REGGIE BUSH. Otherwise, stay with what we've got.

3 picks for one, don't think so. That is impossible anyway, the Cowboys, Raiders and Miami do not have a top 5 pick to trade us.

I'm firmly in the don't trade camp. As much fun as it seems to make a big splash on draft day and scoop up a big name, the risk/return ratio doesn't work for me.

Keep our first 3 picks, and draft based on a balance of our long and short term needs. I'm going to trust management and the coaches to have a solid strategy in place on draft day.

If a potential franchise guy falls to us in the 1st round, that'd be great, and we can pounce.

I know the argument is that we could potentially trade up and get a QB to build the team around, but I'd rather have three shots at getting guys who will have an impact than one.

Having been on the burn side of these trades over the years, just say no. Even trading those picks for Peyton would cause me stress.

If Burly signs elsewhere we get another 3rd rounder. I wouldn't mind packaging a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounder to trade up in a team is willing. We wouldn't miss anything and we'd move up in the 1st round.
