Surprised he wasn't another Philly pickup! Maybe when Brad was with the Eagles he saw something in his practice squad abilities!

It seems the Vikings team leaders are all ending up in Miami
Culpepper
Campbell
Newman
Bennett? - trade discussions pending
Its definitely a new era in Minnesota and all parts of the Green regime are all gone. Is there anyone left? Kleinsasser?

Re: Vikes claim Lawrence off waivers.
only Birk and Kleinsasser and Brad Johnson that i can think of.
hopefully now in this new era, we can get past the whole "almost but not quite" label and be the new team of the decade

Re: Vikes claim Lawrence off waivers.
Newman was our best LB last year except for maybe EJ. He was very solid. I don't know much about Lawrence. I still hope they go after Donnie Edwards.

Re: Vikes claim Lawrence off waivers.
newman was solid, but he was never gonna be above that, and if you can't improve you decline. hopefully the youth can improve enouf to replace newman at a better lvl.
