Vikings | Lawrence claimed off waivers

The Minnesota Vikings have claimed LB Marcus Lawrence off waivers from the New York Giants. He has one year remaining on his contract that contains a base salary of $275,000.
Never heard of the guy, Will give us depth though.

I don't understand why they claimed him. He's done nothing but be on the practice squad.

probably not tho.. depth is a good thing, and he will probably help out a bit on special teams, but thats about it. we've got a decent set of starters at LB now, so at best he would be a 3rd stringer.
