Adrian Peterson (who was not a participant in the play) stepped out from the sideline and playfully acted as if he were going to tackle Sharper.
we have a bunch of jokesters on are team, i love itQuote:
With personalities like Allen, Pat Williams and Brian Robison, there was always plenty of chatter coming from the defensive line. But often times the lineman weren’t chastising players in other positions, they were giving each other a hard time, in a joking manner.
“It’s a great group of guys and we just have fun out there,†Allen said. “It’s football, and if you can’t have fun then you shouldn’t be playing.â€Â
and on a serious note, its good to hear that Tarvaris is clicking with Rice, from what he sound he seems to be alot more focused and ready for the season already.
WATCH OUT BOOTY FANS, ITS TJACK TIME lol :P
“Last year we didn’t make that throw,†Jackson said. “We didn’t even bother to make that read. It was an alert, so we (Jackson and Rice) were on the same page and we knew that he (Rice) would have a legitimate chance to make that play. We didn’t make that throw last year and it’s been a big emphasis this offseason to make that read and make that throw. We got what we wanted out of the coverage, and we were able to make the throw and the catch.â€Â
That was really awesome.
Does this piss you off Packer fans?Quote:
The three most impressive plays were turned in by familiar Vikings faces. Tarvaris Jackson and Robert Ferguson hooked up for the first highlight-caliber play. Jackson took the snap, stumbled a bit on his drop back, looked off the safety and read progressively all the way to Ferguson’s side. Jackson then threw a laser to Ferguson and he reached out to haul in the pass and tip-toe along the sideline. Later, Darren Sharper intercepted a pass near mid-field and began returning it toward the endzone. After beating the entire offense down the sideline, Adrian Peterson (who was not a participant in the play) stepped out from the sideline and playfully acted as if he were going to tackle Sharper.
This excites me.
If Jackson gets it this year. We will win the Super Bowl!Quote:
Jackson dropped back and looked at a few different options, only to find all of them were covered by defenders. Finally he looked down the middle of the field and noticed a streaking Rice, hitting him almost in stride for what would’ve been a touchdown.

as the article didn't mention :
* the 4 times TJ tripped over his own feet and fumbled the ball leading to a D touchdown
* the throw TJ couldn't make last year with Rice was a simple 10 yard button hook.
* the pass to Ferguson took 21 seconds, cus if TJ went all the way through his progressions that's how much time it took.
* besides the one INT of Sharper's there was also 2 by Griffen, 3 by Winfield, 1 by M Williams, 1 by each LB, KW, PW, and even Kluwe went in on D and got a pick 6 on TJ... % of completion to the D was 26%.
Just kidding
;D
Sounds like TJ is getting it together
BTW, JDB fans haven't given up hope that Chilly will see the light.

The Vikings' official website has a blog now, and it's currently being used to document some stuff from the Vikings Organized Team Activities (OTAs).
There's not a heck of a lot there at the moment, but damn it, it's better than nothing....

I beg to differ with you. Chester Taylor was not there either.Quote:

C-Tay likes to workout on his own as well & doesn't always attend the OTA's, if in fact he ever has.
Funny how people like to get on Birk's case, but don't say diddly about C-Tay.

Also absent Monday was running back Chester Taylor, who often works out on his own during the offseason.
Plant Rodgers like a tulip... LOL... sorry, found that funny.
