The problem with Smoot is he has a Big F'N Mouth.. He talks so much smack, and does not back it up.. Of course he was hampered by injuries, but if that is the case, don't run your mouth, and then get smoked in the game.

He talked alot of crap about Chad Johnson, and he got burned. Steve Smith, the same thing, got burned.. Then that boat incident didn't help matters at all. Especially when he was the one that paid for the boats, and has been charged in the incident..

They had Winfield on Johnson when we played Cincy. I remember back when we first got him last year everyone was so pumped and couldn't wait to hear him talk smack and be the vocal leader of the defense. He just had a down year... he'll recover.

Smoot will be good for us, even with b-will leaving i'm pretty happy with our cornerbacks. Obviously it sucks that he's out but it's gotta be hard to keep on to 3 great CB's when one wont be starting.

good ol' rumor mill. where would be be without it. im not concerned if krob goes. but can we afford to lose chavous smoot and bwill? who would replace them? i guess fox when then start in safety spot but we would then need some corners.

BWill is good, but is he just playing at his highest level to get paid? Once he's got his millions I don't think he'll be as motivated. I think it's the same situation as Smoot, he gets his payday and suddenly has a horrible year? (granted he did get hurt) Winfield is a different story, he got paid and stepped up his game to earn it. I like the BWill to SS scenario, but it isn't very realistic. Let BWill go to another team, and spend the money on guys like KoRob who's still trying to prove he's not a bust.
