    Edit:
    Forgot to ask the question.
Do you really pick for every team in all 7 rounds?
I would love to see it if you do.
I try to get it done every year and for some reason am lagging a bit this year.
    Only through the 3rd round.
You're only through the 3rd round of your MOCK draft some 55+ days before the real draft?

    And that's lagging?

    =Z=
    Yes it is.
I like to sit down during the combine and watch some of it and track what is said about each of the players with all 7 rounds in front of me.

    Mock away my friend.
    ;D
i have been using the ultrasounds from expectant mothers combined with the governments DNA database and have the drafts through 2029 all formatted in a open office (I hate Microsoft) spreadsheet database.

We will be drafting Blake Owen.Currently an embryo from Maryland who will eventually attend the U in Miami and lead them to 2 consecutive national championships and go undefeated through the college playoffs. (Yes, they are coming)
Wow, I thought I had time to kill.
    ;D
I did it during my morning break.
    ;D

No way should we draft Desean. Yesterday I read that he measured in at 5' 9' and 167 pounds, thats just not gonna cut it

    Steve Smith: 5-9, 185 lbs.

Santana Moss: 5-10, 200 lbs. (heavier, but still not that tall...)
    http://www.nfl.com/players/santanamoss/profile?id=MOS717844

Laveranues Coles: 5-11, 193 lbs. (also bigger...but point being, receivers don't have to be 6+ to be productive)

Now paint the rest of the picture and see were those guys were drafted at.
1/3 of your examples went in the first round.

    Moss: Round:1 Pick:16
    Smith: Round:3 Pick:12
    Coles: Undrafted

Look, there are some small guys that make it but teams just won't risk a high pick on a guy like them.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

It'd be awesome if he fell to us in the second round!

That would be cool...but despite his size, someone will take him in the first, even if it is a risk.

Re: 2 early Vikings 7 round mock draft (updated after Jared Allen Deal)

    Round 5
    150) CB Dwight Lowery (SJ State)

    Round 6
    182) QB Dennis Dixon (Oregon) (just gotta feeling Brad wants him)
    193) WR Keenen Burton (Kentucky) OR Mario Urrutia (louisville)

    Round 7
    209) In this order depending on who's left on the board:
    S Corey Lynch (Appalachian St.)

I would rather have these picks in round 4:
    QB Josh Johnson
    WR Jordy Nelson
    WR Earl Bennett
    DE Brian Johnston

I just don't see a 4th round TE beating out our current corps. Given how young our TEs are, it would be a wasted pick. Better to draft someone who surprise us, or a project to replace Birk, Williams, Sharper, or Winfield.

Peace Homies. Going to Vegas this weekend. See you after the draft. SKOL.
